Colgate finished the season slotted in the five spot in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live rankings and dropped one place to begin the 2025-26 season.
The Raiders' top-five ranking in the USCHO preseason poll marks the third straight year the maroon and white starts the season as a top-five team.
The nationally-ranked women's hockey team kicks off its 2025-26 season with an exhibition contest against St. Lawrence on Friday, Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. The game will be available on ESPN+.
