Golf Takes Second at Bucknell Invitational
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Colgate Golf wrapped up its fall season with a runner-up finish in the Bucknell Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Bucknell Golf Club.
The Raiders claimed second place of 18 teams competing in the three-day, 54-hole tournament. At the site of the 2025 Patriot League Championship, Colgate finished just three shots behind St. John's with an 859 (+19) three-day aggregate, edging all three Patriot League foes – Bucknell, Holy Cross, and Lafayette – competing in the tournament.

"I couldn't be prouder of our team's resilience throughout the fall season. Despite battling tough weather and facing ups and downs this week, we pushed through together and achieved a strong finish at the Bucknell Invitational. A second place place finish reflects our hard work and commitment. We'll look to carry this momentum into the spring season."
HOW IT HAPPENED
All five Colgate golfers in the lineup placed in the top 35 out of 108 competitors. First-year Alex Hill led the way, finishing seventh with a 210 total (E). He nailed a pair of birdies on two of the final four holes to close out the week with a 1-under 69 on Tuesday.
Robbie Herzig tied for 18th place at 6-over 216 for the tournament. He carded a 1-over 71 in the final round on Tuesday. Justin Fedele and Jayden Freedman tied for 30th with 8-over 218 totals after carding a pair of 2-over 73s on Tuesday.
Brayden Dock finished 10-over (220) in a tie for 35th place to round out Colgate's scoring group. Wyatt Petersen, playing as an individual, finished with a 24-over 234 three-day total.

Colgate ends the fall season on a high note and will pick back up in the spring.
