Colgate Slotted Fourth in USCHO Poll
HAMILTON — Women's hockey was slotted in the top-five in both major national polls, earning the fourth spot per USCHO.com and a fifth-place ranking on the USA Hockey/The Rink Live preseason ballot.
It marks the second-straight season the Raiders earned a top-five national ranking in both polls after earning the fourth-place spot at the start of the 2023-24 campaign. The top-four nods are the highest the Raiders have ever been placed in either poll's preseason rankings.
Colgate tied another program record last season when it peaked at second in the rankings the week of November 21, 2023.
The nationally-ranked Raiders kick off the 2024-25 slate with an exhibition contest at St. Lawrence on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 3 p.m. The game will air live on ESPN+.
