HAMILTON – Fifth-year center Jeff Woodward and sophomore guard Jalen Cox represented Colgate on the Patriot League postseason honors released Monday afternoon. Woodward earned Second Team All-League, while Cox was named to the Third Team and All-Defensive Team.

Woodward and Cox garnered All-Patriot League honors for the first time in their careers after helping guide Colgate to the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Patriot League tournament, combining for seven 20-point games as the Raiders' two leading scorers this season.

Woodward scored in double figures in 16 of Colgate's 18 Patriot League games with four 20-point showings and five double-doubles. He ranks sixth in the league in points per game (16.1), fourth in rebounding (8.1), and second in field goal percentage (.650).

A native of Audubon, Pa., Woodward scored a career-high 25 points at American (1/25) on 12-of-19 from the field. He posted a personal-best 13 rebounds as part of his fifth double-double of the season against Holy Cross (2/26), finishing with 14 points in a 81-73 Colgate victory.

The fifth-year center became the 42nd player in Colgate history to reach the 1,000-point milestone in the Raiders' 87-80 victory over Bucknell (1/20). Beyond scoring, Woodward has contributed with 3.0 assists per game – second-best on the team.

Cox averaged 11.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.7 steals per game with 29 games played and 28 starting assignments. The sophomore has scored in double-figures 20 times, including in eight straight games heading into the Patriot League tournament.

The Los Angeles product ranks fifth in the Patriot League in assists per game, fifth in steals, eighth in assist-turnover ratio (1.4), and ninth in field goal percentage (.540). He scored a career-best 25 points in a double-overtime game at Boston University (2/15), and posted a 22-point, 10-assist double-double in a win over Loyola (2/8).
