Carrabine Grabs Spot on USILA Team of the Week
HAMILTON — Colgate long stick midfielder John Carrabine was named to the USILA Team of the Week.
Carrabine recorded five caused turnovers in the Raiders' 19-14 win at Lafayette last Saturday. All five of those caused turnovers occurred in the first half, logging three in the first quarter and two in the second.
The sophomore also scooped up six ground balls for the third consecutive game. Carrabine picked up two in the first and second quarters and one in the third and fourth.
He helped the Raiders' defense hold Lafayette to three goals in the third and two in the fourth to come back and win the contest.
Carrabine ranks tied for sixth in the Patriot League and caused turnovers per game (2.00) and ground balls per game (4.29).
Colgate is back in action Saturday, hosting Bucknell at 1 p.m.
