Pipkin Named First Team All-Region
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Colgate Men's Soccer first-year Blake Pipkin added to his accolades following an impressive rookie season, earning United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Atlantic Region.
Pipkin was named Patriot League Rookie of the Year and earned First Team All-Patriot League honors Nov. 7. He finished the season with a team-best seven goals and 17 points after tallying three assists.
Pipkin was tied for first in the Patriot League in goals and led the conference in points. He also ranked first among Patriot League first-years in goals and points. Pipkin registered five goals and 11 points during Patriot League play, leading the conference.
The Houston, Texas, native scored the game-winning goal in double overtime against Lehigh in the Patriot League quarterfinals on Nov. 9.
Pipkin recorded a season-high three points with his first career goal and an assist during the Raiders' win over Lafayette Sept. 14.
The forward scored in two straight games against American Sept. 21 and at Navy Sept 28. Pipkin also recorded a goal in back-to-back games at Loyola Oct. 12 and against #20 Cornell Oct. 15. Additionally, he found the back of the net in the Raiders' win over Army Nov. 5.
Pipkin becomes the first Raider to earn All-Region honors since 2018.
