Colgate Drops Match at Hofstra
Box Score OCEANSIDE, N.Y. — The Colgate men's tennis team fell 5-2 at Hofstra Friday evening.
The Raiders began the match by taking the doubles point. Aidan Chung and Tim Viding won 6-2 at No. 2, while Jerome Falcon and Parker McGowan picked up a 6-4 victory at line three. The team of Josh Israel and Benito Vlassis fell 6-2 at No. 1.
In singles, Colgate's lone victory came from Lochlan Seth at line four, defeating his opponent 7-5, 6-3. Vlassis dropped a three-set battle 3-6, 6-2, 4-6 at line one. Junior Aidan Lee fell 6-4, 6-4 at line two, while Israel took a 6-4, 6-2 defeat at No. 3.
Senior Ben Graham was defeated 6-2, 6-1 at line five singles, and Falcon dropped a 6-3, 6-0 decision at line six.

The Raiders are back in action Saturday with a road match at Sacred Heart beginning at 5:30 p.m.
