Colgate Stumbles Against Delaware
NEWARK, Del. - Taylor Golembiewski and Sophia Diehl combined for 42 points but the Raiders were unable to overcome Delaware, falling 88-82 at the Bob Carpenter Center on Tuesday morning.
COACH ADEDUNTAN'S COMMENTS
"This was a competitive game for both sides. I thought Delaware came out and executed, they were firing on all cylinders offensively. I thought they did a great job finding the open players and knocking down shots. They shot the ball really well and I thought we did too. At the end of the day we have to be able to finish and make plays and execute when it matters there at the end.
We have a lot to get better. We are going to work to get better and focus on that and be ready to play another tough team. No games are ever easy, you have to come out and show up, that will remain our focus."
