BOSTON - Taylor Golembiewski posted a career-high 28 points as the Raiders picked up a 61-49 win over Boston University at Case Gym on Saturday.

After BU cut the deficit to five points early in the fourth quarter, Morgan McMahon and Taylor Golembiewski hit a pair of triples on a 12-point Colgate surge to push the Raiders advantage to 17 points.

Golembiewski and McMahon hit big shot after big shot all afternoon combining for 45 of the Raiders 61 points.

COACH ADEDUNTAN'S COMMENTS

"The team stayed together for the entire 40 minutes. The game was always going to have its ups and downs, scoring runs on both sides, but I thought we were able to withstand it throughout the game. We played tough and connected basketball on both ends of the floor and I thought that was great. I couldn't be prouder.

"I am really happy we are playing the way that we have been accustomed to playing. Playing with toughness and togetherness defensively. Taking pride and fighting on that end of the floor so the goal is to continue to do the same. Our offense will keep working itself out and we will keep getting our excitement and joy from defense. That's the goal and the plan, keep working on that end of the floor, keep trying to find different ways to score, keep staying tough and together."
