DANBURY, Conn. – Junior forward Elyssa Biederman was named as the ECAC Hockey Forward of the month after logging nine points and helping the Raiders to a 5-1 record in February.
Biederman earned her second Forward of the Month selection this season after scoring five goals in the six games, including a natural hat trick in game one of the ECAC Quarterfinals against Princeton. The junior leads the Raiders in assists with 32 on the season and ranks 12th in the NCAA in points per game (1.32).
Biederman and the Raiders head to Minneapolis this weekend for the NCAA Regional Final against four-seeded Minnesota for a spot in the Frozen Four. Puck drop is set for 3 p.m. ET at Ridder Arena.
