Licata Earns Preseason Honors
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lucy Licata earned a spot on the Patriot League Women's Lacrosse Preseason All-League Team, the conference announced Thursday.
The senior returns for her fourth season as a Raider and comes off the back of being selected to the 2024 All-Patriot League Second Team.
Licata led Colgate with 32 goals and finished the season with 86 draw controls which is second most all-time in a season for the Raiders. The New Hampshire native started all 17 games for Colgate last season and scored in all but one.
The attacker is one of five captains for the Raiders this upcoming season. The 2025 women's lacrosse campaign begins at home Feb. 7, as Colgate will take on Monmouth at 4 p.m.
