McMahon Collects Rookie of the Week Honors
HAMILTON - Aubrey McMahon earned Patriot League rookie of the week honors the conference announced Monday.
McMahon put up back-to-back hat tricks including a four-goal effort in the win over Le Moyne on Wednesday. The first year scored three goals against UAlbany to total a seven goal and one assist week with the Raiders.
The Norwell, Mass. native ranks second on the team in goals and points averaging 2.5 points per game in the opening six games of her collegiate career.
Caroline Panzirer and Nelle Kniffin each earned honorable mention for their performances this week. Panzirer netted eight goals and added two assists while Kniffin posted five caused turnovers and four ground balls over the two games.
Colgate opens its Patriot League season this weekend with a trip to Worcester, Mass. as they take on Holy Cross. The game is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Kuzniewski Field.
