McCall Named Academic All-Patriot League
HAMILTON – Natalie McCall of the Colgate women's rowing team has added to her postseason collection, hauling in Academic All-Patriot League honors on Thursday afternoon.
McCall, who earlier this week was named to the All-Patriot League second team, is one of 12 student-athletes to earn academic distinction. The senior, a native of Denver, Colo., is a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recipient with a double major in peace in conflict studies and computer science.
McCall was a member of Colgate's varsity eight that enjoyed notable success throughout the 2024-25 season. The Raiders won two races, at High Point (Mar 22) and at the New York State Championships (April 19), to earn the first two Patriot League Boat of the Week honors in the program's recorded history.
Colgate as a team finished sixth in the Patriot League championships last weekend, led by the varsity eight which qualified for the grand final for the second time in three years. McCall, in the seven-seat for the varsity eight, helped the Raiders place fifth place overall, closing out the spring season with a time of 6:56.647.
