HAMILTON— Colgate softball could not stave off a season sweep by Boston University on Monday afternoon, falling to the Terriers, 16-0, in five innings.

BU scored at least two runs in every inning but the fourth, where Mia Edwards took the reins as the fourth Raider pitcher of the afternoon and worked a clean one, two, three inning.

Elizabeth Nitka logged her second hit in as many games in the third frame where she broke up the no-hitter with a hard-hit single up the middle.

Edwards carried the bulk of the load for Colgate in the circle, throwing 56 pitches in one and two-thirds innings and allowing six hits.
