LEWISBURG, Pa. – Jack Schurtz-Ford tied the program record in the 100 Yard Backstroke, highlighting the Colgate men's swimming and diving team in Day 3 action of the Patriot League championship on Friday inside Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Schurtz-Ford took 13th place in the 100 Yard Backstroke, good for fifth in the B Final, with a time of 49.39 which tied JD Suarez's program record in the event.
- Scott Pejic and Michael Granin earned the best individual finishes for Colgate, capturing 12th place in the 100 Fly and 200 Free, respectively. Pejic clocked in with a time of 48.92 seconds, while Granin touched the wall in 1:38.80, both good for fourth in the B Final.
- Deacon Mascarinas and Henry Newhall, two first-years, finished consecutively in 15th and 16th place in the 100 Breast with times of 56.00 and 57.18, respectively.
- Tyler Bosma and Cooper Luedde finished back-to-back in 21st and 22nd, respectively, in the 200 Free with times of 1:40.34 and 1:40.43.
