LEWISBURG, Pa. – Audrey Collins secured a top-five finish to highlight Day 3 action for the Colgate women's swimming and diving team in the Patriot League championship on Friday inside Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Collins earned a spot in the A Final of the 100 Yard Butterfly and came away with a fifth-place time of 54.48 seconds, slightly faster than her seeding time and clocking in just over a second back from Army's fourth-place swimmer.
- Collins also contributed to the 200 Yard Freestyle quartet that took sixth place with a relay time of 1:33.37, which was more than a second faster than their seeding time. The relay team included Lucy Art, Heather O'Day, Collins, and Brooke Garretson.
- MG King secured an A Final placement in the 100 Yard Backstroke and touched the wall in 55.45 seconds, good for a seventh-place finish in the event – closely behind Army's Jenna Hart (55.37) and American's Piper Crosby (55.35).
- Garretson (200 Free) and Natalie Hofer (100 Back) came away with 13th place finishes, fifth in the B FInal, with respective times of 1:51.68 and 1:05.05.
