He earned four top-five finishes, including co-medaling at the Savannah Intercollegiate after firing back-to-back rounds of 68. Herzig shot a program-record 67 twice, highlighted by his first round of the season at Seven Oaks during the Alex Lagowitz Memorial.

Li matched Herzig with Colgate's best round of the Patriot League championship, firing a 1-under 69 to climb into the top five. His fourth-place finish in the championship marked his best performance of the season, shooting even par through the three-day tournament. His other tournament highlights included an 11th-place finish at the Battle at Rum Pointe (E) and 17th-place finish at the Carpetbagger Classic.
