BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Patriot League Football released its preseason honors on Wednesday morning, and representing Colgate were senior wide receiver Treyvhon Saunders and junior placekicker Luke Vogeler

Saunders was recently named a preseason All-American by Stats FCS after putting up record-breaking numbers as a junior. The two-time All-Patriot League First Team honoree set the program's single-season receptions mark, finishing second in the FCS and fifth in all of college football with 88 receptions. Averaging 7.3 grabs per contest, which also were a school record, Saunders totaled 831 receiving yards with two touchdowns.

In his three seasons at Colgate, Saunders has racked up 180 receptions totaling 1,975 receiving yards and nine touchdowns along with 17 rushes for 96 yards. An economics major from Columbus, Ohio, Saunders enters his senior season 41 receptions away from Luke Graham's '05 program record of 221 career grabs.

Vogeler, another All-Patriot League First Team selection last season, connected on 13 of 15 field goals for the best field goal percentage in the conference. He broke two program records, making the most 40+ yard field goals in a season (4) and converting more 50-plus-yard kicks than any kicker in program history with two. As a sophomore, he was a perfect 4-for-4 on field goal attempts from 40-49 yards.

An economics major from Caledonia, Mich., Vogeler in his career has 99 Kickoffs for 5907 yards, good for a 59.7 yard average with 26 touchbacks. He is 13-for-17 on field goal attempts and a perfect 27-for-27 on PAT's.
