OTTAWA - Kristýna Kaltounková '25 and Hannah Murphy '25 were selected in the 2025 PWHL Draft on Tuesday night at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Ottawa, Ontario.
Kaltounková went first overall to the New York Sirens and became the first Raider to be drafted first overall in program history. Kalty joins former Colgate women's hockey head coach Greg Fargo in New York alongside former Raiders Allyson Simpson '24 and Kayle Osborne '24.
Murphy was the first goaltender selected in the 2025 draft going in the second round, 15th overall to new expansion team PWHL Seattle. Murphy edges out Osborne as the highest drafted goaltender who was picked 28th overall in last year's draft.
