HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lehigh jumped out to an early 7-2 lead until Taylor Golembiewski hit a step back jumper and Ella Meabon finished a pass inside from Chidinma Okafor to get the Raiders within a point.
- Meabon and Anne Bair both hit a pair of free throws to close the gap after the Mountain Hawks went on a 5-0 run.
- Morgan McMahon found Christina Midgette with a backdoor pass to help Colgate cut the deficit to 16-19 after one quarter.
- The Raiders opened up the second frame with a triple from TG that sparked a 7-0 run and the hosts took a 23-19 lead.
- Meabon dished it to Golembiewski inside to start a 6-0 run and Colgate extended its lead to 29-24 halfway through the second quarter.
- Both teams traded blows before the half but the Raiders held onto a narrow 33-29 lead at the break.
- Colgate held the Mountain Hawks scoreless for the first four minutes of the second half and pushed its advantage to 39-29.
- McMahon hit a corner trey before the media timeout in the penultimate quarter to keep the Raiders ahead 44-35.
- The Raiders and Mountain Hawks each buried their free throws down the stretch in the third but Colgate remained in front 54-45 heading to the final frame.
