Colgate-American Men’s Basketball Flexed to CBSSN
HAMILTON – Colgate hosts American in the regular season finale and the game has been selected to air on CBS Sports Network with tipoff set for noon next Saturday, March 1, announced by the Patriot League office.
Significant playoff implications will be on the line when the teams meet next Saturday. Colgate (12-16, 9-6 Patriot) currently stands in fourth place in the Patriot League standings, while American (17-11, 11-4 Patriot) holds a one-game lead over Army and Bucknell atop the rankings.
American won the previous meeting 81-77 on Jan. 25 in Washington, D.C. There were 20 lead changes in that game, including 10 in the second half, before the Eagles took the lead for good with a 3-pointer in the final minutes of regulation. Jeff Woodward scored a career-high 25 points.
The 2025 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men's Basketball Championship will begin with first-round games on Tuesday, March 4, and continue with quarterfinal-round action on Thursday, March 6. Each game in the first two rounds will be streamed live on ESPN+. The semifinal round will be played on Sunday, March 9, and televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. The PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men's Basketball Championship Game is on Wednesday, March 12, with live coverage on CBS Sports Network.
