Raiders Open Season at Harry Lang Invitational
HAMILTON - The Raiders men's and women's cross country teams opened the 2025 season at the Harry Lang Invitational in Hamilton, N.Y. on Saturday morning.
Both the women's and men's team placed second out of the three teams at the meet.
COACH FRANCE'S COMMENTS
"I'm extremely pleased with how we performed at this point in the season. Competing alongside a top-10 program in front of our alumni, families, and recruits, our team—led by outstanding captains—has built on the strong foundation we've established and continues to grow more competitive each year. We're excited to carry that momentum forward into the season ahead."
WOMEN
Nell Droege was the top Raider finisher as she placed fourth with a time of 18:21.5 in the 5k. Annie Reilly finished shortly behind Droege in sixth with a time of 18:25.7.
First years Ameya Eddy and Allison Bender collected 12th and 13th place finishes, respectively. Lucy Pew finished with a time of 19:48.5 to place 16th.
Hailey Bradley, Ashley Crane, and Juliet Drury rounded out the top 20 finishers.
MEN
Andrew McGraw secured ninth place finish with a time of 19:21.6 in the 6k. John Griffith and Owen McMorrow finished just behind McGraw in 10th and 11th, respectively.
Will Keiser finished in 13th place while Thomas Rivier and Aidan Prucher capped off the top 20 finishers.
UP NEXT
Colgate will head to State College, Pa. to compete at the Penn State Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational on Friday, Sept. 12.
