Sophomores Lead Colgate Golf at Seven Oaks

HAMILTON – Sophomore Jamison Bryant is one stroke off the lead after firing a 1-under-par 71 in the first round of the Alex Lagowitz Memorial on Saturday at Seven Oaks Golf Club. Bryant is 2-under through 15 holes in Round 2, which was suspended due to darkness and will resume at 8 a.m. Sunday morning.

Bryant turned in five birdies in the opening round and has a clean 2-under scorecard with a pair of birdies through 15 holes in Round 2. He trails only Lehigh's Ryan Cronin (-4) on the individual leaderboard. 

Sophomore Alex Hill also finds himself in the top 10, currently sitting in 10th place at even par. He turned in a 1-over 73 in the opening round before bouncing back with four birdies thus far in Round 2. He's 1-under through 15 holes in Round 2 and even for the tournament – four strokes off the lead. 

Ninety-two golfers across 14 teams are competing in this weekend's Alex Lagowitz Memorial Tournament at Seven Oaks Golf Club. The Raiders are tied for seventh on the team leaderboard (+9), with everybody trailing Seton Hall's 6-under team score through Saturday's results.

UP NEXT
Round 2 will resume at 8 a.m. Sunday morning with clear skies in the forecast. The third and final round will commence immediately after the completion of Round 2. An awards ceremony for the team and individual leaders will take place at the conclusion of the event.
