Herzig Co-Medals in Savannah Intercollegiate
SAVANNAH, Ga. – Robbie Herzig, who was tied for first with back-to-back rounds of 68 on Saturday, shared medalist honors after Sunday's final round was canceled due to adverse weather conditions at the Savannah Intercollegiate tournament.
Fourteen teams and 84 golfers are competed in this weekend's spring-opening three-round tournament at The Club at Savannah Harbor. Colgate finished 11th as a team at 23-over with scores of 301 and 298 for an aggregate two-round total of 599.
Herzig is Colgate's first individual winner since April 2024 when he captured first place in a head-to-head battle at St. Bonaventure. Herzig was also Colgate's last individual champion in a tournament setting when he took first place in the Upstate Battle at Seven Oaks in April 2023.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Herzig (136) tied with two other golfers atop the leaderboard. He turned in seven birdies along with an eagle against just one bogey, which included a run of four consecutive birdies on the first four holes. His 27 pars were tied for fifth-most on the day. Jamison Bryant playing as an individual carded a 1-under 143 and tied for 22nd.
Alex Hill and Jayden Freedman both tied for 57th place after finishing with 150 (+6) two-round totals. Chad Ruggiero is in 80th place (+18).

The Raiders will next compete March 22-23 in the Carpetbagger Classic at the Worthington Manor Golf Club in Urbana, Md.
