HAMILTON - Four Raiders were invited to NHL development camps that took place from June 30 - July 5.

Rising sophomore Michael Neumeier earned his second invite to an NHL development camp, while Ryan Spinale and Ryan Sullivan each earned their first invite. Incoming first-year goaltender Reid Dyck also received an invite and attended the New York Islanders' camp.

Neumeier attended the Seattle Kraken's development camp last year and received an invitation to the Las Vegas Golden Knights' this summer. The ECAC rookie of the year scored eight goals and added 12 assists in his first season with the Raiders.

"It was a great experience to get to know all the staff and be able to learn what it takes to play hockey at a pro level," Neumeier said. Not many people are fortunate enough to get an opportunity to experience a development camp so I'm thankful to get feedback on what I need to improve on from the highest level."

Rising sophomore Ryan Spinale attended the Florida Panthers' development camp after scoring four goals and adding two assists for Colgate last season.

"Florida Panthers development camp was an incredible experience that helped me learn a lot and see what it takes to get to the next level," Spinale said. "Being able to learn from the Panthers' coaching staff was very important as it showed me the habits and details that it takes to play at that level. Also being able to play alongside draft picks and other high level players showed me where I stack against completion, and what I need to work on. It was a big step forward in my development and I feel that I can take away a lot of things from camp to help with my upcoming season at Colgate."

Ryan Sullivan earned an invite to the Nashville Predators' development camp off the back of a 15-point season. Sullivan scored five goals and added 10 assists in his sophomore campaign after logging 13 points in his first year.

"Development camp was an awesome experience, it gave me the chance to compete at a high level and see how I stack up among other top players," Sullivan said. "I took away a lot of valuable lessons that I'm excited to bring back to Colgate as we prepare for the upcoming season."

Dyck wrapped up his junior career with the Swift Current Broncos in the WHL where he posted a 71-67-7 record with six shutouts and a .892 save percentage. The Manitoba native was selected to the Second Team Central Division All-Star team in the 2023-24 season after helping the Broncos in the Central Division in the WHL.

"It's always great to have the opportunity to attend a development camp and get feedback from different people that you can take into summer with you," Dyck said. "I'm excited to bring what I learned to Colgate for next season and help the team out every way I can!"
