BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Senior captain Benito Vlassis was named Patriot League Player of the Week after taking down Navy in first singles and first doubles action this past weekend.
Despite the Raiders' loss to the Mids, Vlassis took down the 2023-24 Patriot League runner-ups in a thriller at first singles. He dropped set one, 4-6, before rallying to a 6-4 win in the second set and a 14-12 triumph in the super set.
In doubles action, Vlassis and partner Josh Israel downed the Midshipmen, 6-4.
Vlassis and the rest of the Raiders are back in action this weekend starting with a matchup against Le Moyne on March 8 at 4 p.m. at Drumlins Country Club.
