COACH FRANCE'S COMMENTS

"This has been a story book season for our team. On paper nothing this team achieved today should have ever happened - our culture and leadership this year speaks volumes and has played a pivotal role in our success this season. Their love for the sport, Colgate, but most importantly each other has been eminent and has exuded into their performances. Best league finish by our men under new conference realignment, and an 8th place finish for our women within 9 points of 6th lead with a lineup of first years is unbelievable. I'm truly blessed to coach such an amazing group of men and women and excited to witness what the future holds."

WOMEN

Nell Droege continued her great first year season placing 33rd and the first Raider to cross the finish line with a time of 21:58.3. Lucy Pew finished behind her in 38th place while Annie Reilly posted a 47th place finish.

Kara Shepard and Ava Kletti rounded out the top five finishers for Colgate while Linden Cafcules and Ashley Crane finished just outside the Raider top five.

Six out of the top seven Colgate finishers from this year's Patriot League championships are first-year athletes.

MEN

Owen Holland placed 14th with a time of 24:19.9 and the first Raider to cross the finish line for the third consecutive meet. John Griffith was not far behind Holland placing 16th. Owen McMorrow posted a 22nd place finish with a time of 24:36.3.

Andrew McGraw placed 34th while Liam Davis rounded out the top five finishers in 42nd. Dakin Ebmeyer was right behind Davis in 43rd and Nick Larson placed 51st giving the men's team an overall fourth place finish in the Patriot League.
