Colgate Falls at Dartmouth
HANOVER, N.H. — Colgate fell 7-0 on the road to Dartmouth Sunday afternoon.
Emilia Callahan led the way for the Big Green, tallying four goals.
Dartmouth got on the board just over nine minutes into the game when Callahan put one in off a feed from Piper Edwards. Callahan then made it 2-0 with 2:04 left in the second.
The home team quickly expanded its lead at the start of the third. Olivia Galiotos found the back of the cage four minutes in, and Callahan followed 44 seconds later. With four and a half minutes remaining, Callahan notched her fourth, making it a 5-0 game.
Dartmouth added two more in the fourth, starting with Ruby Walsh scoring just over a minute into the quarter. Lucia Campano then fired one in with 4:05 left, pushing the score to 7-0.
Colgate had two corners in the opening quarter. The first came with 9:05 left after Dani Palmer had a shot blocked. The Raiders got a shot from Ahria Dhillon, but she put it wide.
The second corner came less than two minutes later, and Dhillon took another rip, but it got saved. Three minutes into the third, Morgan Willis got a good look at the goal and fired one that got stopped by the goalie.
