Abby Rehfuss Joins Women's Lacrosse Staff

HAMILTON - Colgate women's lacrosse welcome Abby Rehfuss to the program as Alyssa Guido completes her staff for the upcoming season. Rehfuss joins the Raiders with six years of collegiate coaching experience including a NCAA Final Four appearance last season with Syracuse.

HAMILTON - Colgate women's lacrosse welcome Abby Rehfuss to the program as Alyssa Guido completes her staff for the upcoming season. Rehfuss joins the Raiders with six years of collegiate coaching experience including a NCAA Final Four appearance last season with Syracuse.

Rehfuss served as the offensive coordinator last season for the Orange helping lead them to the program's first ever outright ACC Regular Season Championship finishing with a 16-6 record. Rehfuss played a pivotal role in four players earning IWLCA All American Honors, as well as seven players named to IWLCA All-Region team and ten players earning All ACC honors.

Before Syracuse, Rehfuss served as the head coach for five seasons at Siena where she helped guide the team to one MAAC Regular Season Championship and three MAAC Championship game appearances. During her tenure with the Saint Bernards, she won the 2021 MAAC Coach of the Year, coached over 40 All MAAC players, and holds the program record for wins in a season and all-time wins.

Rehfuss graduated from Loyola Maryland with a degree in Interdisciplinary Writing & Philosophy and was a four-year letter winner. During her playing career she was a two-time team captain, IWLCA Second-Team All-American, three-time All-Big East selection, and Big East Conference Champion.

Rehfuss continued her education at Roger Williams University School of Law and Albany Law School where she graduated with a Juris Doctor degree and is currently an Associate Attorney at her own law firm.
