Women’s Rowing Lands Eight CRCA Scholar-Athletes

HAMILTON – Eight members of the Colgate women's rowing team were named Scholar-Athletes by the College Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) on Thursday afternoon.

HAMILTON – Eight members of the Colgate women's rowing team were named Scholar-Athletes by the College Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) on Thursday afternoon. 

To be considered as a CRCA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA (or higher), meet all the requirements set by their institution, and be in their second, third, or fourth year of eligibility. Additionally, the student-athlete must have competed in at least 75 percent of the team's spring races.

McCall, Myatt, and Carew were all members of Colgate's first varsity eight that won the petite final during the Patriot League championship on May 17 in Pennsauken, N.J. McCleary and Russo are both multi-year recipients.
