Livesay Lands Patriot League Player of the Week
HAMILTON – Colgate Softball senior catcher Quinn Livesay has been named the Patriot League Player of the Week following a strong weekend offensively and defensively at the UMBC Invitational.
In five games over the weekend, Livesay slashed .600 (9-for-15) with three home runs, two doubles, and seven RBIs. With three multi-hit performances, the senior slugged 1.333 and posted a .632 on-base percentage. Livesay was also solid behind the plate with 19 putouts and five assists against no errors.
Livesay cranked a three-run homer which ended the game in the sixth inning of Colgate's 10-2 victory over Manhattan on Saturday. She also shined in Colgate's 8-3 victory over the Jaspers, going 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run, three RBIs, and two runs scored.
Livesay, an All-Patriot League First Team selection last season, leads the team in batting average (.361), hits (26), doubles (8), home runs (5), and RBIs (15).

Colgate is back in action for six games this week, starting Tuesday when the Raiders take on Maryland in College Park. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
