Raiders Bested by Great Danes, 4-1
HAMILTON— Nora Megenity lifted her first career home run and Quinn Livesay threw out two runners stealing, but the Raiders fell to the University of Albany, 4-1, on Wednesday afternoon. Bailey Misken struck out nine in her 17th complete game, tying her for the 17th most complete games in the country.
The Great Danes threatened early with two base runners on and one out, but Misken sat down the five-hole hitter looking to end the inning unscathed.
UAlbany took control with a three-hit, four-run third inning that proved too much to overcome for the Raiders, who did not log their first hit of the game until a Livesay single in the fourth frame.
Megenity's homer cut the deficit to three after the visitors tacked on another run in the top of the fourth, but it was as close as the Raiders would get in their first loss in four games.
