2025 Spring Schedules Announced for Colgate Athletics

HAMILTON – The 2024-25 schedule vault continues with 10 spring sports unveiling their competition slates, including golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's rowing, softball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's track and field.

Men's Golf | Schedule
Colgate kicks off the spring season in Savannah, Ga., competing in the Savannah Intercollegiate Feb. 15-16. The Raiders have six total tournaments on the spring calendar, including three straight weekends in Maryland starting with the Carpetbagger Classic March 22-23. Colgate competes in the Testudo Cup April 5-6 before wrapping up the regular season in Columbus, Ohio, competing in the Buckeye Classic April 11-12. This year's three-day Patriot League Championship will be hosted by Bucknell in Lewisburg, Pa., April 25-27. Colgate looks to continue its postseason momentum after finishing runner-up in the championships last season for the second-straight year. 

Men's Lacrosse | Schedule
The Raiders begin the 2025 season with a rematch of last year's opener at Penn State Feb. 1. The team then remains on the road for a contest at Virginia Feb 8. Colgate hosts UAlbany in its home opener Feb. 15 before traveling to Harvard three days later for a mid-week matchup. The Raiders are back at Andy Kerr Stadium Feb. 22 when they welcome Villanova. Colgate kicks off Patriot League action with back-to-back away games, first at Loyola March 1 then at Lafayette March 8. The Raiders host Bucknell March 15 in their first of four home conference games. Colgate will also take on Navy, Army, and Holy Cross in Hamilton. The final non-conference game features a short trip to battle Central New York foe Syracuse March 22. Postseason play starts April 29 with the Patriot League quarterfinals. The semifinals are May 2, and the championship is May 4.

Women's Lacrosse | Schedule
Colgate will open its 2025 season at home against Monmouth on Feb. 7. The Raiders will then hit the road to take on Binghamton (Feb. 12) and Quinnipiac (Feb. 15) before returning to Hamilton for matchups with Cornell (Feb. 22) and Le Moyne (Feb. 26). Women's lacrosse will head to UAlbany on March 1 before kicking off Patriot League play on the road against Holy Cross (March 8) and Navy (March 15). Colgate will play its final non-conference game at home against  Siena on March 18 before three consecutive home Patriot League games against Loyola (March 22), American (March 29), and Bucknell (April 5). The Raiders take a trip to Easton, Pa. to take on Lafayette on April 12 before their final home regular season game against Boston University on April 16. Colgate wraps up the regular season with trips to Lehigh (April 19) and Army (April 23). The Patriot League Championships will start with the quarterfinal round on April 27 before the semifinals on May 1. The Patriot League Championship will take place Saturday, May 3.

Men's Rowing | Schedule
Men's Rowing opens the spring campaign at the Murphy Cup in Camden, N.J., April 5. The Raiders are back in Camden for the Knecht Cup the following weekend. Colgate then heads south for the SIRA Championship Regatta in Oak Ridge, Tenn., April 18-19. After two weeks off from competition, the Raiders race at the Dad Vail Regatta and the Atlantic Sprints May 9-10. The IRA National Championship Regatta is set for May 30-June 1 on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J.

Women's Rowing | Schedule
Colgate's six-race spring slate begins in North Carolina, where Colgate takes on Marist and High Point in a multi-team battle March 22. The Raiders follow up their spring opener by alternating races in New York State and Massachusetts. Colgate competes against George Washington and Cornell on March 29 in Ithaca before taking on multiple teams on April 12 in Worcester, Mass. Following the New York State Championships (April 19) in Saratoga Springs, Colgate is back in Worcester for the Eastern Springs (May 4) as the final race of the regular season. The Patriot League Championship is scheduled for May 16 in Camden, N.J. 

Softball | Schedule
The Raiders open their season at the Kickoff Classic in Phoenix, Ariz., on Feb. 6 before additional early-season tournaments in South Carolina, Maryland and Georgia. After a five-game road trip with games against Morgan State (March 18), Maryland (March 19), and Delaware State (March 20), Colgate opens its home slate with a midweek doubleheader against Siena on March 22. Patriot League play begins at Boston University on March 29, and the Raiders play six of their final eight series at home. The regular season wraps up at Army on May 4. 

Men's Tennis | Schedule
The Raiders play nine of their first 11 contests at home, but open the season on the road at Stonehill. Colgate will play every Patriot League squad except one this year, beginning conference play against Lehigh on Feb. 23 at Drumlins Country Club. A Spring Break trip will see the Raiders take on Florida National and the University of Miami on March 17 and 18, respectively, before rounding out the regular season on a three-match home stand from April 5-13. 

Women's Tennis | Schedule
For the first time in program history, the Raiders will face every Patriot League opponent in the spring championship season. The slate opens with a bout against Stonehill on the road on Jan. 25 before a four-match home stand from Feb. 9-22. Colgate begins Patriot League play at Boston University on Feb. 23, and will face Florida National, Nebraska Omaha and Stony during a Spring Break trip from March 17-19. Five-straight Patriot League contests cap the regular season at home before the conference championships starting April 24.

Track and Field | Men's Schedule | Women's Schedule
The men's and women's track teams opened up their indoor season in early December at the Greg Page Relays in Ithaca, N.Y. They will return to Ithaca for two more meets in early January before heading to Boston for The Track at New Balance Collegiate Showdown on January 18. Indoor track will compete in 13 meets this season including hosting the Class of 32 Invitational on Feb. 22. Between the meet is Boston and the Class of 32 Invitational, the Raiders will take trips to New York, N.Y. (Jan. 24 - 25), State College, Pa. (Jan. 31 - Feb.1 & Feb. 8), and Utica, N.Y. (Feb. 8). Colgate caps the indoor season in Annapolis, Md. for the Patriot League Championships scheduled for March 1 and 2.
