At this teaching table, we will discuss various technologies, both paid and freely accessible, that we as language instructors at Colgate use in our classrooms. These include Quizlet Plus (paid) and Instagram (free), among others. A representative from the Center for Learning, Teaching, and Research (CLTR) will also be present, to share information about Colgate’s Teaching and Technology Micro Grant program. These Micro Grants can provide funding to support you, as you explore a new technology in your teaching, experiment with a web-based resource to support student learning, or perhaps pilot a technology tool in one of your courses.
