“Colgate Domains” provides faculty and students with a space on the web and access to digital tools for creating web content. Colgate Domains supports teaching and learning by enabling faculty and students make connections to other sources and media on the web, publish their work publicly, or create a forward-facing web presence for themselves or their project(s). This workshop will feature an overview of the principles of connected learning and demonstrate some uses of websites and tools found on Domains for teaching and learning. Ideas and recommendations for activity and assignment design for websites created in Colgate Domains will also be shared to inform potential collaborative course projects in Colgate Domains.
