Climate Hope: Colgate Faculty Perspectives

Colgate faculty will discuss climate hope and positivity in the 21st century. This event is hosted by the sustainability representatives who aim to curate a unique panel of faculty whose research and teaching interests intersect with climate change and its effects.Panelists:Paul Harnik, assistant professor of Earth and environmental geosciencesAndy Pattison, associate professor of environmental studies Justine Weber, visiting assistant professor of biologyOffered by the Office of Sustainability, the Sustainability Representatives Program is a leadership development program for first-year and transfer students who are passionate about sustainability. Guided by upperclass sustainability interns, the team explores topics of waste, climate change, and peer behavior change, interlaced with interactive professional development. Their year-long experience culminates in organizing a final event during the 13 Days of Green series.This will count as one credit hour for the employee Sustainability Passport Program.This event is part of the Office of Sustainability’s 13 Days of Green series leading up to Earth Day on April 22.
