HAMILTON — The Intercollegiate Rowing Association announced the teams selected for the 2024 IRA National Championship regatta on Tuesday afternoon.

Men's rowing will race its varsity four boat, marking the fifth straight year Colgate has competed at the event.

The 2024 IRA regatta will be held from May 31 to June 2 at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. Last season, the Raiders' 1V4 placed 18th overall after finishing sixth in the third-level final. Before that, Colgate had not raced a fours boat since 2021, when the JV fours finished 17th.

The Raiders' 1V4 has had a strong season, placing seventh overall at the SIRA Championship Regatta after winning the second-level final. The boat also raced against Temple, posting a time of 7:27.60.
