Four Raiders Selected for Collegiate Select Series
LAKE PLACID, N.Y. - Four Raiders were selected to represent their respective nations at the upcoming 2025 Collegiate Series between Team USA and Team Canada. The games are scheduled for Aug. 13-16 at Lake Placid Olympic Center in Lake Placid, N.Y.
Casey Borgiel and Elyssa Biederman earned a spot on the 25-player roster for Team USA while Madeline Palumbo and Emma Pais were selected to the Team Canada roster.
Biederman helped Team USA claim silver at the 2022 IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championships and competed in the 2023 Collegiate Series against Canada. Borgiel has made a handful of international appearances in her career and will be competing in her first Collegiate Series.
Both Palumbo and Pais were a part of the 2024 Women's Euro Hockey Tour team that brought home silver. Pais has logged eight points in her international career including two goals and five assists at the 2023 U18 Women's Worlds to help Team Canada earn a silver medal.
The three-game series will be available to watch on USAHockeyTV.
