HAMILTON — Five members of the Colgate men's rowing team were named Empacher-IRCA Scholar-Athletes by the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association on Wednesday.
The honorees are listed below in alphabetical order.
James Burke (Jr., Computer Science)
Nayda Farnsworth (So., Computer Science and Applied Mathematics)
Eldon Scott (So., Economics)
Luca Williams (So., Computer Science)
Harrison Zeigler (Sr., Philosophy and Political Science)
Zeigler was named an IRCA Scholar-Athlete for the third straight year, and Burke earned the recognition for the second time.
To be honored by the IRCA rowers and coxswains must be in their second year or more of eligibility at a member school and have raced in one of the team's top-three boats or at the 2024 IRA National Championship. The student-athlete must also hold a 3.50 cumulative GPA through the fall 2023 semester.
