Cross Country Races in Paul Short Run
BETHLEHEM, PA. – Head Coach Chelsea France's cross country teams took the trip down to Lehigh University this weekend to race in the annual Paul Short run. Racing in the College Brown 8k heat, the men's team finished in 18th place out of 47 teams while the women came in 30th place in the College Brown 8k race.
Sophomore John Griffith started off the day for Colgate running a 26:30.4 in the men's open 8k while first-year Liam Davis clocked in at 26:43.3. In the College Brown 8k heat, junior Owen Holland and sophomore Owen McMorrow continued their stellar fall campaigns with a 63rd and 64th place finish, respectively.
The women's race saw first-year Audrey Luell finish as the fastest Raider for the third time this season, ending in 68th place with a time of 23:05.6. Grace Myers (155th) and senior Carollin Mellin (157) also finished in the top 200 for Colgate.
In the final compiled standings, the Raiders placed 61st out of 124 teams on the men's side and 80th out of 123 competitors in the women's races.
