COACH RONNING'S COMMENTS
"I am really happy for the group. They gutted out a result on the road and earned a chance to play for a championship. Timmy made a great play, Oliver was excellent, and the guys showed collective commitment to grind out a win."

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Oliver Townend saved three shots in the second half to secure the shutout. He stopped a chance on a shot from inside the box in the 82nd minute, denying BU an equalizer.
  • In the 65th minute, Townend made a beautiful save on a curling shot from outside the box, diving and putting it over the crossbar.
  • Townend made his first stop of the game five minutes prior when a Terrier ripped a shot from outside the box that he got low and saved.
  • The Raiders' backline fended off six Terrier corners in the second half and one in the first.
