HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Johnson found the back of the net in the 28th minute to give the Raiders a 1-0 advantage. Jacob Blackwin played a hard cross into the box that a UAlbany defender tried to head away. The ball landed at the foot of Johnson, who slotted a shot into the bottom left corner.

  • The Raiders recorded three corners in the final 18 minutes. Colgate had its final one in the 82nd minute that it could not convert.

  • Townend made three saves in the opening seven minutes, including back-to-back stops following a corner.
