Four Raiders Garner All-League Honors
HAMILTON - Four Raiders earned All-Patriot League honors, the conference announced on Monday. The four selections is the most for the Raiders since 2019.
Lucy Licata secured the lone First Team All-Patriot League selection for Colgate. Licata is the first Raider to be selected to the first team since 2018 and earns her second All-Patriot League selection in her career. The senior started every game for Colgate this season and scored 30 goals and added five assists. The Hopkinton, N.H. native finished with a program record 163 draw controls and concluded her career with the second most draw controls in program history with 258.
Aubrey McMahon garnered Second Team All-Patriot League honors after an exceptional first year. McMahon was the team's second leading goalscorer with 36 goals and provided 15 assists to surpass the 50 point mark in her first collegiate season. The first year started every game for the Raiders and earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week on March 3 for her back-to-back hat tricks against Le Moyne and UAlbany.
Senior defender Nelle Kniffin also earned a spot on the All-Patriot League Second Team, the senior's first all conference selection of her career. Kniffin led Colgate in ground balls (30) and caused turnovers (24) and ranked ninth in the conference in caused turnovers per game with 1.41. The Darien, Conn. native started every game for the maroon and white this season and finished her career just outside the top 10 in caused turnovers.
Rounding out the Raiders postseason honors is attacker Caroline Panzirer. The junior earned her first all conference selection with a spot on the All-Patriot League Second Team after a standout season. Panzirer led the Raiders in goals (43), assists (25), and points (68). The Katonah, N.Y. native eclipsed the 100 point mark and sits just five goals away from the 100 goal club. Panzirer finished her third year ranked seventh in goals per game and fourth in assists per game in the Patriot League.
