COACH TAYLOR'S COMMENTS
"While this season has been fraught with many challenges and games that ended short of victory, it is very exciting for our team to be entering the Patriot League Tournament as the fifth seed and at a time we are playing our best lacrosse. I am proud of the growth this year and all the players on our team that have worked hard every day to get better and build a strong competitive team culture. Sometimes the wins do not come right away and that can be hard, and disheartening but this team has been resilient. Securing a fifth seed in the conference tournament is proof that this team never gave up or gave in...they relentlessly chased a higher level of play every day. Whether it be this year or next I am confident that Colgate Women's Lacrosse will find its way to the upper echelon of the Patriot League and I look forward to celebrating the journey with them."
UP NEXT
The winner of Sunday's matchup earns a trip to the semifinals, where they will take on top-ranked Loyola Maryland on Thursday, May 2 at 3 p.m. The game will be played in Baltimore, Md. and will be available on ESPN+.
