Two Raiders Selected For Patriot League Postseason Honors
HAMILTON – Senior Kyra Lucey and junior Lucy Licata each earned a spot on the Second Team All-Patriot League when the conference announced honors Monday afternoon.
Lucey earns her second consecutive Second Team spot after being selected last year as well.
Licata earns her first postseason honor of her career.
Lucey Repeats on Second Team
Kyra Lucey earns her second straight Second Team All-Patriot League spot after leading the Raiders in points and assists. Lucey finishes her Colgate career with 87 assists, most all-time in Colgate women's lacrosse history. The Pittsford, N.Y. native netted 19 goals including the game winner over Lehigh on Senior Day.
Lucey also etched her name into the record books with an impressive season dishing out 29 assists. Lucey now sits fourth and fifth in the record books for assists in a season after having 30 assists last season.
Licata Earns First Honor
Lucy Licata was selected to the Second Team All-Patriot League for the first time in her career. Licata led the Raiders in goals netting 32 over the season. Licata also finishes the season with her name towards the top of the record books.
The Hopkinton, N.H. native led Colgate with 86 draw controls on the year, she finished the season second all-time for draw controls in a season. Licata scored four hat tricks this season and finished the campaign with two or more goals in ten straight contests.
