Women’s Rowing Set for Patriot League Championship
HAMILTON – Three boats are set to represent the Colgate women's rowing team in the Patriot League Championship on Friday at Cooper River. Action begins with the two varsity four heats at 8 a.m. and 8:10 a.m., respectively.
Colgate will compete against Patriot League members Boston University, Bucknell, Lehigh, Georgetown, Holy Cross, Loyola, MIT, and Navy. The championship will be scored on a weighted scale, with nine points for the winner of the varsity four race, 18 for the second varsity eight and 27 for the varsity eight from the grand final races.
After the initial heats in the morning, the afternoon sessions depend on qualifying for either the grand or petite finals.
