Hamlin Logs First-Career CFL Start
CALGARY, Albeta — Arthur Hamlin '23 earned his first start in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the Montreal Alouettes last weekend, posting a career-high three tackles and adding a special teams stop in the 19-19 tie against the Calgary Stampeders.
The Ottawa native has accumulated eight total tackles in seven games played for the Alouettes after being drafted 29th overall by Montreal in the 2024 CFL Draft.
After recovering from an injury early in the year, Hamlin has helped Montreal to a 10-2-1 regular season record. The Alouettes sit atop of East Division and have already clinched a playoff berth with five regular season contests left to play.
Hamlin and the rest of the Alouettes are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 21, when they take on the Ottawa Redblacks at 3 p.m. EDT.
