Kozlowski Earns Player of the Week Nod

BETHLEHEM, Pa.  — Junior linebacker Cole Kozlowski was voted Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week after posting his third-straight game with double-digit tackles in Colgate's 31-20 loss at Akron on Saturday.

BETHLEHEM, Pa.  — Junior linebacker Cole Kozlowski was voted Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week after posting his third-straight game with double-digit tackles in Colgate's 31-20 loss at Akron on Saturday.

The New Jersey native tallied game-highs with 13 tackles, two sacks (career high) and 4.5 tackles-for-a-loss (career high) for minus-27 yards against the Zips. The narrow loss served as Kozlowski's first-career multi-sack game, and his 4.5 TFLs are the second-most tackles-for-a-loss recorded in a single game this season (FCS).

Kozlowski is now tied for second-most total tackles in the FCS with 38 stops, and he is the only player in the Patriot League with 10+ tackles in every game of 2024.

The league's leader in total stops is back in action with the rest of the Raiders this Saturday for a matchup with Cornell at 1 p.m. in Andy Kerr.
