HAMILTON – The 2024-25 non-conference schedules for Colgate men's and women's basketball have been announced. The two programs will combine to play 10 home contests at Cotterell Court before Patriot League begins in January.  Men's Basketball
2024-25 Non-League Schedule

The men's team's 13-game non-league schedule includes four matchups at Cotterell Court. The Raiders open their season at home against SUNY Canton on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Fans in attendance will join the four-time defending champions for a pregame banner unveiling.

Colgate follows the home opener with seven straight games away from home, including a tough stretch at Syracuse (Nov. 12), NC State (Nov. 18), and Harvard (Nov 22). The Raiders then head to North Carolina for a three-day tournament Nov. 27-30, facing host UNC Wilmington, Appalachian State, and Sam Houston State during Thanksgiving Break. 

Three of Colgate's five December games will be played in Hamilton, starting Dec. 4 against Cornell. After visiting Northeastern (Dec. 8) and Kentucky (Dec. 11), the Raiders close the non-league slate with home bouts against Vermont (Dec. 15) and Iona (Dec. 22).

Women's Basketball
2024-25 Non-League Schedule

The women's team will play 13 non-league games, including six matchups at Cotterell Court with the Thanksgiving Weekend tournament. The Raiders open up at home against UMass Lowell on Monday, Nov. 4. 

Colgate heads west to California to take on CSU Bakersfield (Nov. 8) and UCLA (Nov. 10), before returning back to Hamilton to take on Central Connecticut (Nov. 15). The Raiders will then take a trip to Delaware to face off against the Blue Hens (Nov. 19) before hosting St. Bonaventure (Nov. 23) at Cotterell Court. November is capped off as the Raiders host a Thanksgiving Weekend Tournament on Nov. 29 and 30.

The Raiders will have two home contests out of five in December, but first take on Georgetown (Dec. 7) in the nation's capital. Colgate comes back for two straight home games taking on Union (Dec. 10) and Pitt-Johnstown (Dec. 14). The women's team closes out their non-league schedule with a trip to Syacuse to match up with Le Moyne (Dec. 21) before heading to Buffalo to take on Canisius (Dec. 29).
