COACH KIRCHER'S COMMENTS
"Was a tough day. Wind was blowing, and there were some very good hole locations. We struggled a bit on the greens, but still are able to take a lot of positives away. Robbie is off to a great start this spring with another under par round. He has a chance to go win a golf tournament tomorrow, and that's always a really nice position to be in.
"Also very good to see Justin rebound with a good round. He's put in a ton of work, and I know he was frustrated after Missouri. Turning in a solid 74 is good for confidence. We're looking forward to having some cleaner scorecards and ending spring break on a high note."
Seventy eight golfers from 12 teams are competing in this weekend's par-72 course. Colgate is tied for seventh after posting a 309 (+21) team score on the day.
Justin Fedele, competing as an individual, is tied for 12th after posting a two-over-par 74. Dugan McCabe sits in a tie for 35th (+6), followed by Kevin Hollomon, Wyatt Petersen, and Leo Li who are all tied for 47th place (+8). Michael Hanratty turned in a 10-over-par 82.
